Error: coreaudiod (not responding) appears with red lettering in the Activity Monitor Utility.
Last Updated : October 25, 2009
Products Affected :
Error: coreaudiod (not responding) appears with red lettering in the Activity Monitor Utility.
This is a known issue in Pro Tools LE 8 (Mac OS X). If the Apple "Activity Monitor" utility is used to examine processes when the Digidesign CoreAudio manager is launched, "coreaudiod (not responding)" will appear with red lettering in the "Activity Monitor". NOTE: To see this, the "show" pull-down menu in "Activity Monitor" must be set to view "All Processes". There is no workaround.
